Also competitions here can land you a job or even lumpsum money.

2. CREATING ACCOUNT ON HACKERRANK 

Hackerrank is a platform that will help you to increase your level on various aspects of data science such as Python programming, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics etc. It provides different questions classified as easy, medium and hard. So you can improve your level in a consistent manner. Also it provides you with different stars based on different skills. These skills can also be showcased on your resume, and recruiters have a keen eye for this achievement.

3. STARTING TO CREATE PORTFOLIO 

I talk repeatedly about this that creating portfolio is the most crucial thing to land job in data science field. People study deep and advance data science and then also complain that they are not getting jobs. A recruiter won't hire you until you can show that you can apply what you know and your portfolio is what proves it. So pick up a project and start creating your portfolio now.

 Did you know that you can visualise data that has higher dimensions? We can do it using TSNe. TSNe stands for t - distributed stochastic neighbour embedding What is TSNe? TSNe is a statistical method that is used to visualise high dimensional data by giving each datapoint a location on two or three dimensional map. It is a non linear dimensional reduction technique. How TSNe works? First it constructs a probability distribution over pairs of high dimensional objects. Similar objects are provided high probability and dissimilar objects are provided low probability. TSNe then defines a point on low dimensional map for similar objects. When to use TSNe? Usually with big data we have large number of columns or parameters associated with the data. Representing such data on two or three dimensional map is impossible.
